developed this conceptual wash pad design, which depicts just one of our basic designs.
In this design:
- A wash pad is designed to keep most of the solids out of the collection system for easy removal.
- The water that comes off of the wash pad flows through a collection trough which removes solids and other debris.
- Removable Weirs inside the drainage trough slow down the water to allow solids to settle, but allow easy clean out.
- Lava Rock Baskets are placed in the trough to remove floating debris.
- The trough is covered by light weight easy to remove Diamond Grip® Channel Grating.

Diamond-Grip® Channel is a manufactured by a cold forming process in the shape of a channel. The web of the channel is the walking surface and has rough serrated edges around diamond shaped openings. Diamond openings are complete with radiused corners at the saddle and side channel locations.
Industrial Equipment utilizes grating to bridge drain troughs, which direct wash pad run off to water treatment systems for reuse, recycle or discharge to sewer.
